In East Boulder, the trails and open space are just a part of the background of everyday life. Trails and parks run right through neighborhoods and spots people already frequent, so finding something to do outside is as easy as stepping out your front door.
The East Boulder Trail is one of the main connectors here. It’s wide, mostly flat, and easy to use whether you’re walking, running, or biking. It gets steady use throughout the day, especially in the mornings and early evenings, and it links up smoothly with other paths across the city.
Right next to the rec center, East Boulder Community Park adds a big, open stretch of green space that is easy to naturally fold into your routine. It’s common to head outside after a workout, take a slow loop around the park, or let the kids run around.
Trails are shared use, so bikes and pedestrians mix throughout the day. Dogs are common, just pay attention to leash rules depending on the area.
